There's a nice flow to this prose. Calls to mind this idea I'm developing about good fiction-prose being defined by "metastructure" (some combination of rhythm, pacing, propulsiveness that emerges from the sentence-level and paragraph-level structuring). I enjoyed the page about the piece about the "pickup artist" which reminds me of my own satirical novel on the subject. I think that mode of thinking lends itself well to this DFW-esque style hyperanalytical prose style and you executed it quite nicely.
